About the Conference

The Madhav Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Gwalior is organizing two-day international conference on Sustainable and Innovative Solutions for Current Challenges in Engineering & Technology “ICSISCET 2019” from November, 02-03 2019. The conference will boost excellent innovations in terms of day to day life and academics. The selected papers of the conference will be published by Springer series on “Advances in intelligent computing and sustainable engineering systems and practices”. The Conference is being organized with the financial support from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, INDIA and Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP), Phase III.
About the Institute

Madhav Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Gwalior was established in 1957 by His Highness Sir Jiwaji Rao Scindia, Maharaja, of the erstwhile state of Gwalior under open door policy of Govt. of India. The foundation stone of the institute was laid by the then President Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on 20th October, 1956 and the building was inaugurated by President Dr. S. Radhakrishnan on 11th December, 1964. On the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the institute, the president of India, Dr. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil graced the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the institute as Chief Guest on 30th June, 2008. A postal stamp on MITS was also released on this occasion by her on the same day.
About the City

Gwalior is a major city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and one of the Counter-magnet cities. Gwalior occupies a strategic location in the Gird region of India. The city and its fortress have been ruled by several historic northern Indian kingdoms.Gwalior was the winter capital of the state of Madhya Bharat which later became a part of the larger state of Madhya Pradesh.High rocky hills surround the city from all sides, on the north it just forms the border of the Ganga- Yamuna Drainage Basin. The city however is situated in the valley between the hills.Gwalior has been selected as one of the hundred Indian cities to be developed as a smart city under PM Narendra Modi's flagship Smart Cities Mission.

Author Guidelines

  • The language of the conference is English. Papers should be free from grammatical and typographical errors.
  • The paper should be formatted according to the guidelines; Springer author kit may be downloaded from the website for templates
  • The work should be original and must not be concurrently submitted elsewhere for consideration. A declaration of this effect must be submitted along with the paper.
  • The length of the paper should not exceed 12 pages. However, if after the review the number of pages increases, nominal extra page charges will be applicable.
  • All submitted papers will be subjected to rigorous review by two domain experts and papers will be accepted based on originality, clarity and significance in the present context.
  • For publication, it is mandatory that at least one of the authors will register for the conference.
  • Plagiarism policy: The paper should be checked for plagiarism using standard software such as Turnitin/iAuthenticate, etc and the overall similarity content should not be greater than 20% where similarity from any single source should not exceed 4-5% including self publications.
  • Papers must be submitted online via the easychair link provided on the conference website.
